Heating things up, one snap captured Celine holding Ne-Yo´s face as they sang to each other.
ON INTERVIEW
On January 24, 2014 Celine Dion was in Los Angeles, California, USA where she attended the shooting for the music video for "Incredible", a duet song with Ne-Yo. During the shooting, Celine and Ne-Yo sat together respond questions made by special correspondent Cameron Mathison for a segment for the American morning television show "Good Morning America", aired on ABC channel in USA. During the interview, Celine said "When I started to receive songs and I told him [ Rene-Charles Angelil, Celine´s 13-year-old son ] that Ne-Yo sent me some songs, and that maybe he would sing with me, he said, ‘What? N– n– you mean the real Ne-Yo?". "He said, ‘Mom, you don´t even have to listen to the song. You have to do it", Celine said. Celine, also the mother of twin toddler sons, listened to her oldest child and the result is "Incredible", a love song written by Ne-Yo himself. Even though Ne-Yo, a Grammy Award-winning artist, had written songs for Celine previously, he told Mathison that the thought of singing with the Canadian songstress known for her powerful voice almost held him back. "The issue for me, initially, was the whole concept of a duet", Ne-Yo said. "You know, it´s Celine Dion". "Once I got over the initial shock of the whole duet scenario, I´ll say there were times where I was kind of battling with myself", he said. "There were one or two takes where there was something that I was looking for that wasn´t there. But in the back of my mind, I´m like, ‘Do I critique Celine Dion?". The pair recorded the song last year for Celine´s new album "Loved Me Back To Life". "Ne-Yo, among other artists, gave me the chance to still be the best of myself with a little bit of tweaking the sound, on a modern approach", Celine said. The songs also was chosen by NBC as the official anthem of 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. "For me, in the past, I remember some athletes coming to me saying that, for example, ‘Love can move mountains’, was their theme song before they were going to do the big jump at the Olympics", Celine said, referring to the 1992 single from her self-titled 17th studio album. "Ne-Yo had a vision when he wrote this song", Celine said. "And when I heard Ne-Yo´s song for the first time, that piano line, and sang, ‘The whole world is watching us now’, I said to myself, ‘This is my new Olympic song’".
