"The Best Of Celine Dion & David Foster" is an English compilation album of greatest hits by Celine Dion and famous Canadian musician, record producer, composer, singer, songwriter, and arranger, David Foster, released by Sony Music Entertainment on October 22, 2012 in Asia only.

The collection of 17 songs, all produced by Celine´s long time friend David Foster, includes some of the biggest hits by Celine as "The power of love", "All by myself", "Because you loved me", "To love you more" and some famous duets as "When I fall in love" with Clive Griffin (from the movie "Sleepless In Seattle"), "The prayer" with Andrea Bocelli, "Tell him" with Barbra Streisand, "I hate you then I love you" with Luciano Pavarotti, and two virtual duets: "All the way" with Frank Sinatra (previously released on the album "All The Way... A Decade Of Song" in 1999) and an studio version of "If I can dream" with Elvis Presley (never released before). "If I can dream" was first performed on the "American Idol" TV special "Idols Gives Back", a charity show broadcast on USA in April 2007 to raise money for poor people in Africa and the USA. It is now officially released in a new studio version. Although this is a compilation with no new songs, some differences can be found in the songs. "All by myself" is noticeably difference especially during the first chorus. It was also removed the piano during the final chorus. Also it is noticed that there are some slight differences in "I surrender" and "To love you more". The guitar during the bridge section of "The power of love" is stronger. The whole section that breaks up the final chorus has a completely changed arrangement. Background vocals are also stronger in "Because you loved me" and the orchestra is fuller in "The power of the dream". Overall it seems like these have been remastered and remixed to add a bit more "colour" and "depth" to the arrangements. "The Best Of Celine Dion & David Foster" is the second exclusive release of Celine by Sony Music in Asia, after the first one titled "Complete Best", released on February 27, 2008 in Japan only. Although the album does not includes other songs of Celine produced by David Foster as "Unison", "Let´s talk about love", "Then you look at me", "Live (for the one I love)", "In some small way" and "Love lights the world" (a promotional single featuring Celine, Peabo Bryson and Color Me Badd, released on April 4, 1994 and included on David Foster´s album also called "Love Lights The World", released on April 10, 1994 in Japan only).

The cover photo was taken from an exclusive session with Celine and David Foster at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA in 2005, made by photographer Jerry Metellus for the "NUVO" magazine. The same photo appeared on the magazine´s 2005 Winter issue (volume 8 - number 4).
