ON REHEARSALS
On March 1, 2009 at 9:15 a.m Celine Dion, accopmained with her husband Rene Angelil, arrived to the Mel´s Studios in Montreal, Canada to record a special gala with the contestants of the famous TV show "Star Academie", broadcasted that day on TVA channel. Celine talked few words with Julie Synder, the host of the show, and she also was in rehearsals with the contestants. Celine recived few gifts on her camerino.
ON TV SHOW
On March 1, 2009 Celine Dion took part on the famous TV show "Star Academie" in Montreal wich was broadcasted live on TVA channel in Quebec, Canada. The small studio where took place the show, gave it an intimate atmosphere. Celine really felt for all the contestants. During commercial breaks sometimes she talked to them. The show was hosted by Julie Synder. Celine was interviewed and they also broadcasted footage from Celine last show of the "Taking Chances Tour" and other footage from tour backstage moments. Celine performed a medley of her greatest hits with the contestants, wich included the songs "Ce n´était qu'un rêve", "D´amour ou d´amitie", "Unison", "Je danse dans ma tête", "Les derniers seront les premieres", "Because you loved me", "S´il suffisait d´aimer", "L´amour existe encore", "Taking chances", "I´m alive" and "Dans un autre monde". Celine also performed "My heart will go on" in duet with Brigitte, and "Pour que tu m´aimes encore" in duet with J-Philippe. The group, The Lost Finger performed a rare version of "Unison". During the song, Celine joined them singing. This was Celine last performance before her vacations for more than an year.

After the show, Celine gave a press conference where she talked about her experience at the show. Celine also talked about her duet with one of the contestants, "My heart will go on" with Brigitte and her duet with The Lost Finger on the song "Incognito". On March 2, 2009 Celine Dion´s husband Rene Angelil, gave a press conference at the Windsor Hotel in Montreal, Cananda where was launched his first official biography book titled "Le Maître Du Jeu" (in english "The master of game") writen by Georges-Hébert Germain. During the conference Celine, wearing a sexy red dress and a new hair-style, talked about her husband, the book and then she kissed him. Rene Charles, the couple son, also was there. Rene Angelil talked to the press about the secrets of his book. The author Georges-Hébert Germain and the singer Luc Plamondon also was there and talked in the conference. Many celebrities attended the event as Ginette Reno, Marc Dupré, Julie Synder, Marie Joseé Taillefer, René Simard, Pierre Arcand and Gérald Tremblay. The members of the famous TV show "Star Academie" also were there. Celine´s brothers and sisters and their mother Therese Dion, who also talked to the press, accompained Rene on this day. Georges-Hébert Germain also wrote Celine´s book "My Story, My dream" and "Foor Keeps" (translated by Jenna Glatzer). Family members as Rene Angelil´s daughter and Celine´s mother Thérèse Dion also were there. Celebrating the launching of this new book, the TVA channel broadcasted an exclusive interview with Rene Angelil on that night. Rene was interviewed for an hour by the journalist Paul Archand. This biography, available in stores across Quebec, promises to surprise readers with many little known facts about the famous show-businessman.

ENSEMBLE CONTRE LE SIDA
On March 21, 2009 Celine Dion appeared on the special benefit show "Ensemble Contre Le Sida" released in Paris, France and broadcasted on France 2 and on TV5 channels, which aims to raise awareness in hopes of curing AIDS. French stars from film, television, policy and music have announced themselves to the support of this great organization on Saturday evening, in the streets of Paris, as well as on many worth seeing places of the town, but also in historical buildings gathers around the television viewers to the donation to animate while they never before performed her biggest hits, but still belonged duets. Celine was unfortunately not in person, but they led by Canada from a phone conversation with her longtime friend, Luc Plamondon, who only a few meters away from the Eiffel Tower. He talked with Celine and then was broadcasted footages from Celine´s perfomance of "L´amour existe encore" in duet with Eric Lapointe taken from the historic concert at the Plaines D´Abraham on August 22, 2008 in Quebec City.
